1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, submitting a contact form, requesting a quote, or engaging us to perform plumbing or gas fitting work, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Plumber Rockingham. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Services
Plumber Rockingham provides professional plumbing and gas fitting services across Rockingham, Western Australia and surrounding suburbs. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Hot water system supply, installation, and repair
- 24/7 emergency plumbing
- Gas fitting, installation, and compliance testing
- Blocked drain clearing (CCTV, water jetting)
- Leak detection and repair
- Kitchen and bathroom plumbing
- Water filtration system installation
- Heat pump hot water systems
- Strata and property maintenance plumbing
- Bathroom renovation plumbing
All plumbing and gas fitting work is performed by licensed tradespeople in accordance with the Plumbers Licensing and Plumbing Standards Regulations of Western Australia and relevant Australian Standards. We hold all required licences and insurance to perform these services.
3. Pricing and Payment
Quotes and Pricing
- We provide fixed upfront pricing on all standard plumbing work. The written quote provided before work begins is the final price you will pay, unless additional work is required and explicitly agreed upon by you.
- We charge a $0 call-out fee for standard service calls within our service area. You are never charged for a plumber to attend your property for an initial assessment.
- Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary if the scope of work changes or additional issues are discovered during the job.
- Any additional work beyond the original scope will be discussed with you and a revised quote provided before the work proceeds. We will never perform additional chargeable work without your prior approval.
Payment
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative payment arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.
- We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, credit card, and debit card.
- For larger projects (such as bathroom renovations), a deposit may be required prior to commencement. Deposit terms will be outlined in your written quote.
- Overdue invoices may incur interest at the rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
4. Appointments and Cancellations
- We will confirm all appointments with a specific arrival window and provide updates if there are any changes to the schedule.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover our scheduling costs.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, or adverse weather conditions. In such cases, we will reschedule at the earliest available time at no additional cost to you.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
Our Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind every job we complete. All plumbing and gas fitting work performed by Plumber Rockingham comes with a workmanship warranty. If any issue arises from our work within the warranty period, we will return to rectify the problem at no additional cost.
Product Warranties
- Products and materials supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist you in making warranty claims where applicable.
- Warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.
- Warranty does not apply to pre-existing conditions or issues not related to the work we performed.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We guarantee 100% customer satisfaction on every job. If you are not completely satisfied with our work, contact us within 7 days of job completion and we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.
6. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Plumber Rockingham shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our services or website.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
- We are not liable for damage to pre-existing plumbing infrastructure, including aged or corroded pipes, that may fail during or after service work. We will always inform you of potential risks before proceeding.
7. Property Access and Safety
- You must provide safe and reasonable access to the area where work is to be performed, including clear pathways to plumbing and gas infrastructure.
- You are responsible for informing us of any known hazards on your property, including asbestos, structural issues, or electrical hazards.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cease work if we determine that conditions on the property pose an unacceptable safety risk to our team.
- Our team will wear appropriate personal protective equipment and take all reasonable steps to protect your property during the course of work.
